The Adoption Process
So, you are ready to adopt a puppy! Bringing a new puppy into your life is one of the most exciting events of all! We are so happy that you have placed your confidence in Scarlett Rose Ranch Standard Poodles. You will not be disappointed! You may choose your puppy with utmost confidence that there are no better poodles anywhere than our Scarlett Rose Ranch pups! Our sires and dams are health checked and cleared of all genetic diseases. You can rest easy knowing that we offer a one year health guarantee for any genetic disease.
Additionally, we use Puppy Culture to ensure that your puppy will be well-socialized and have the very best start in his/her first 12 weeks. Your puppy will come ready for AKC registration, eager to learn, train, be of service, or simply be a joyful companion to an adult or child.

I like to chat on the phone with any potential puppy owner. If, after that, we both feel like one of our pups will be a good fit for you, you may move forward to placing a deposit of $500.00 to reserve a puppy and secure your place on the waitlist. The waitlist allows puppy buyers to become involved in the process of finding the perfect new member of their family. There are many factors involved in choosing the right puppy including: size, temperament, gender and color. We work with you to find the perfect fit for your family!
Once you have reserved a place on the waitlist, you will then be able to specify a male or female and any other potential qualities you desire. If it turns out that you are not able to get the puppy with the qualifications that you want, the deposit may be transferred to another litter. There will be no refunds on deposits for any reason.
You may reserve a first and second choice, but final selection will not be made until week 5. By then we will know more about the puppies and their personalities and placement will be much easier.
After the litter is born, we will post new pictures each week, and chat about your baby! I will send videos of the puppies training and playing, and will update the pictures on the website each week.
We will begin to set up travel arrangements at week 6, but the puppies will stay with their Mother until 8 weeks old.
Your contract must be signed and your puppy must be paid for in full before they go home with you.
How will you get your puppy? We would love to meet you in person! If you want to fly in to pick up your puppy, but do not have time to come to the Ranch, we will meet you at the airport!

We love company and, if you live close enough, we encourage you to come and be hands on with the puppies as soon as it is safe to do so.
Your puppy will come home to you AKC registered and you will be able to set your pups legal name with the AKC whenever you choose to do so
The day your puppy leaves us to go home to you will be bittersweet! We love puppies and will miss them very much, but it also gives us great joy to know that another family is going to have the same wonderful experience that we have every day!
