Meet Genesis
Hi I’m Genesis, and I am the owner of Rustic Bubbles and Cuts Dog Grooming. I am happy that you are here, and I hope that we can work together to accomplish everything that you need! Whether you need pictures taken or your furry friend groomed, we can get it done. I plan to do mobile grooming as well as grooming in the salon. Below are some examples of my pet photography.

The Story of Rustic Bubbles and Cuts
You might wonder what the story is behind the name Rustic Bubbles and Cuts. I would like to tell you!
As a little girl, I always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs! Not necessarily the fact that some are fluffy, cute, or even unique in their own way, but I knew that they all have feelings and a heart too!
When I was around the age of 12, I had gotten a puppy, not even knowing what kind of dog he was, or how big he was going to get. When I first saw him in the animal shelter, I was so sad to see how he smelled so bad, and he had mange and his ears were two different sizes because flies had been eating his ears up. He looked very sick and restless. I really wanted to help him! After a lot of talking to convince my parents, they decided that we could bring him home. After we settled down at home, we were thinking about names. We were trying to find out the puppy’s personality. There were so many names to choose, and there was not one that stuck out the most.
I studied him, trying to figure out the color that his coat would be once he was healed up. It looked like it would be some shade of rust, so I named him Rusty.
Rusty was the most perfect dog in every way. He would help me with yard work and swing on the swing with me. He also was a very good listener, and I knew I could always count on him not to tell my secrets!
Some years passed, and then the New Year 2022 came quickly. We went out with friends and got home late. I went outside to check on Rusty, and I realized that he was nowhere to be found. We went looking for him at 2 am on New Year’s Day and I was calling his name through tears. When I returned home early on that New Year’s morning, I tried to sleep, but my mind was desperately trying to figure out what could have happened.
The next morning, we found out. During the noise of the fireworks, he panicked and ran from our house into the garage of a neighbor that we did not know. They kept him in the garage a few hours until the noise stopped and he calmed down. They then decided that he would be better off in their back yard. As soon as they opened the garage door, he bolted toward home. At the same time, a passing driver, who was drunk, hit my best friend and kept on driving.
After time passed, I got another dog, this time a standard poodle — Dolly Mae. The idea soon formed that I wanted to groom my dog instead of taking her to the grooming salon. We would have our own salon! Of course, now we needed a name! Once again, many names passed through my mind but the only name that really worked for me was a name honoring my first four-legged friend. So Rustic Bubbles and Cuts was formed.
From then until now has been learning the trade and I truly groom all dogs with lots of love and carefulness!
